Nexus Conformal Coating Spotlight Service: SCH building equipment in North America, Europe and Asia as part of licensing agreements with partners

UK Company, SCH Technologies, have put in place licensing agreements to manufacture their batch equipment in North America and Asia.

The agreement, which inludes among other items conformal coating spray booths, inspection booths, drying cabinets, UV conveyors and dip coating systems, allows much faster turnaround times for the customer which occur when shipping around the world and the elimination of problematic shipping costs which can often double the price of the system.

The agreement was formed earlier this year when US Conformal Coating Services company Diamond MT agreed to partner with UK based SCH Technologies to begin to form a global conformal coating partnership across Centrial & North America, Europe and Asia. The two companies quickly harmonised their coating service businesses, with Diamond MT offering SCH’s equipment range and SCH arranging to bring in Parylene Coating into the UK. Also, Diamond SCH, the China division of the partnership, has also been recently launched in Shenzhen China .

Dr Lee Hitchens, Technical Director of SCH Technologies explains

“With shipping time and costs causing barriers to sales in the USA and Asia it was clear we had to change the way we sold the systems. They are great value products but become expensive with the shipping charges. Our partnership with Diamond as a global force allows us to acheive the same quality but with much faster lead times and prices that ensure the customers get a great deal”
